About the artist

Axel was born as an alter ego that encompassed my appreciation for individuality in a world where we are constantly pressured to conform. Axel exists as a persona that is limitless, untamed, and undefined, similar to the art that I create.

Throughout my creative journey it took me a while to free myself from the self-inflicted pressure to be perfect. As a result, my art explores and celebrates imperfection.

I am a self taught multidisciplinary artist. A jack of all trades, but master of none. I like to explore and expand my craft based on my growing interests in various fields of the arts. As a creative I resonate with the expansive and evolutionary nature of art, because as a human being I am constantly growing and changing as well.

My art is a reflection of the complexity of myself, my inner world, and the greater realm that we all exist in. Many things can be explained, but not everything nor everyone is meant to be understood.

We are simply meant to BE.
